With a professional health and fitness career that has spanned over 20 years, I have helped many individuals in many walks of life get fit, recover from injury, and lose weight.
“My approach is relaxed but focused. First, I will listen to what you have to say to find what goals you would like to achieve and also ensure that you are at the right motivational level to start the programme not everybody is. Providing everything fits and we feel comfortable with each other and you are at the right motivational level, we can then discuss the best way forward to help you achieve your goals as quickly and safely as possible.
My many qualifications and training include:
BSc (Hons) Sports Rehabilitation
Diploma Sports Injuries
Certified Personal Trainer
Pilates Instructor
Remedial Exercise Therapist
Massage Therapist
Cognitive Behaviour Therapy
LTA CCA Professional Tennis Coach
Cert Ed
First Aid
Professional Membership in the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute
Whilst my experience and training allow me to deal with a wide range of fitness, rehabilitation and weight loss areas, I recognises that sometimes referring a client on can be the best course of action. To that end, I have developed a local network of fellow health professionals, including a Physiotherapist, Nutritionalist, Chiropractor, Health Food Shop, and a Sports Footwear Advisor.
When I'm working with clients, I enjoy reading, coaching my 7-year old son Alexander at tennis, and dancing Salsa with my wife Melanie. I also like to get involved with fundraising for charities such as Cancer Research UK.
